Elisir di Mela

A typical Campanian liqueur, which comes from the infusion in alcohol of skins and seeds of our Annurche apples.
This is a very old kind of native apple: fruits are picked up from the trees when still green and then laid on a dried herb bed to ripe slowly, turned once a while on the other side by the patient hands of the farmers. The taste is sweet, pleasantly sour and strongly aromatic.
After meals it's a very good digestive too with its 30% of alcohol.
